Vom 27. Juli bis zum 5. August 2015 fand die 14. European Maccabi Games in Berlin statt. Die größte jüdische Sportveranstaltung Europas findet zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte in Deutschland statt. Wo 1936 jüdische Sportlerinnen und Sportler von den Olympischen Spielen ausgeschlossen wurden, stehen diesen Sommer Tausende für die Botschaft für Toleranz und Offenheit und gegen Antisemitismus und Rassismus ein. Über 2.000 jüdische Sportlerinnen und Sportler aus über 36 Ländern der Welt sind im Olympiapark Berlin, in 19 Sportarten gegeneinander antreten.
